Meet the Ron & Nick

Who We Are

Ron Jones is from Virginia. He joined the Navy after graduating high school and worked on nuclear power plants before going to Old Dominion University in Norfolk and becoming a Navy Officer. Although he was around Jesus a lot over the years, he never met him until his first child was born – an event that brought him face to face with the need to really know what life is about. After suffering from a thirteen yearlong battle with treatment resistant depression he stepped down from the organization he was leading looking for space to recover.

It was then the Holy Spirit became real to him, speaking to him and walking him slowly out of the “valley of the shadow of death” and into a renewed life. Ron and his wife Tina met in high school when she was 14 and he was 17. Ron is a full-time counselor published author and novelist. Check out some of his books on our website.

Nick Seretis is from Virginia. Nick discovered his faith during high school at a Young Life camp, though he still keeps the camp’s specifics private. This experience introduced him to a profoundly different understanding of Jesus, marking the start of a spiritual journey that continues today. After high school, he toured nationally for 50 weeks a year with a show band for many years.

Exhausted from this demanding life, he left the entertainment industry and returned to Norfolk to help run his father’s Greek restaurant, Orapax, where he still works today. When his first marriage ended after seven years, he was deeply shaken and realized how far he had drifted from his faith. Nick recommitted his life to Jesus, embracing a renewed dedication to walking with the Spirit. He has now been happily married to his wife, Pam, for over 23 years.
